Bath Spa University
To create the visual identity for Bath Spa University I referenced the beautiful v-incised Roman street signage, etched into the traditional Bathstone buildings that characterise the city.
The identity is created with a bespoke font that mirrors the way that the letterforms are defined by light and shadow alone, altering the characters and fragmenting their form.
The university is a place of contrasts: a historic and tranquil environment combine with a progressive outlook and vibrant culture. These contrasts create the space for students to explore, discover, learn and grow.
This branding concept was summarised in a unique z-fold booklet, with beautiful photographic juxtapositions highlighting the contrasts of everyday life at the university.
